went to school for chinese new year celebration. ahh. i still prefer pei hwa's method of celebrating, somehow ):
my god angel (rachel) gave me a bottle of stars and my name on the bottle. pretty. thanks, rachel! :D
after that, went back to pei hwa to visit the teachers. lo and behold, only mdm wu was there! ): mdm wu didnt exactly give us (claire,constance,elizabeth,me) a warm welcome la. but oh well. huanglaoshi and mrs lee werent there! sadddd. so left them a message lor. all the boys were showing off their "great basketball skills" at the basketball court. linghan played with them. haha. she's so cute. okay. after the short visit to pei hwa, we went to the nearby bukit timah hawker centre for lunch. ate hokkien mee with iced milo. how typical of me.
after lunch, took 66 and then 156 to MOELC. what a long ride. it was 2 when we reached there. so we decided to revise our japanese/french. then bernice came. not bernice as in honk, but bernice as in my new friend. then she came and talked to us and she rattled on. she's very funny :D
2.30 went for japanese class. not much to say there. blahh. so after class, i went to the canteen to wait for my mum. ashley, esther, zann, jovina, claire and i were all waiting too. we chased away the birds. nothing to do mah. ate prawn crackers (im allergic to them) and my nose got all itchy and red. claire's also allergic and her whole face was itchy. okay. then we talked about stuff. i didnt exactly talk much. jovina did all the talking.
mum brought me to junction 8. bought new year clothes man. a yellow tee (im supporting waddle!) and grey shorts. and a black tee and beige cargo pants. yay(: after which, i went to eat dinner at sakae sushi. salmon bento set. yummm.
by the time we finished dinner, it was 8 plus and we went to buy the beads and stuff for aesthetics next week. i bought an iron-on letter "J", some black buttons and some beady things. total cost : $6.60. wow.
when i got home, i realised i forgot to buy felt cloth. oh man. okay. that's about it. a whole day out. i came back, bathed,(watched a little tv) and slept. snore.

pasted our couplets (2 lined peoms) on the magnetic wall in our classroom. i never knew we had it leh! so cool :D haha. i shan't post who i wrote about in the couplet, cos it's a secret(: claire wrote about me. the couplet was about basketball and that "you dont need to be TALL to play" it. -.-
philosophy.
gahh. karmin, oh karmin. why dýou like philo so much!!! whenever i step into the philo room and we begin discussing all the "life issues/questions", i get a brain cramp! still have to do a worksheet plus a JOURNAL(essay, more like it) on philo. [i bet karmin is excited already.]
computer studies.
computer studies rocks my socks. the teacher's alright, i guess. he jokes without batting an eyelid, so maybe a small percentage of us caught them. he was "sayang-ing" his computer, okay! HAHA(: anyway. we did a banner. about ourselves. yeahh. macromedia fireworks(: uh-huh. and then people were like crowding around my desk and "jolene! how did you do that!" so i just told them? and then they used it for themselves. excuse me! copyright! ):

today's assembly wasn't as boring as last friday's one. today's one was a talk by gregory burns. had PE today!!! :D not very fun la. had relief teacher. blehh. it was just running the track. yup. i love being the PE rep with dear ol' anthea! whoopeee!!! ((((:
aesthetics- made a pin cushion! i made a cloud(: i love my fluffy. it's really tiny, though. not enough felt cloth, see. ohh well.
today was my second basketball tryouts! it was very scary. there was this really pro girl called leeanna. (pro and CHIO!) my gosh! i bet she'll be ranked first! had an interview too, y'know.
and the coach told me that i was very very very short. and told me to convince him why he should select me. then i freaked out. i froze. i didnt say a word.
SO STUPID RIGHT! im so sad!!! AHHH! ): i cried - a bit. not during the interview la.but after. jovina said that one-nians dont cry. so i stopped-not totally.
{so sad.}
sigh. then later the teacher-in-charge told me a whole lot about CONFIDENCE. that i had really LOWWWW self-esteem. gahh ):
people people. pray for me kay? must pray! thankyous. all in god's hands now(: well if he doesnt want me to get into basketball, then oh well. it's his plan for me. (but i'll be really sad la. haha:D)

school's good. very good.the teachers are really nice. except for mdm dewi. i mean. she's great, but somehow, i feel that she doesnt like me ): (awwww)

went for basketball tryouts yesterday! whee! it turned out great la(: one chua chu kang girl got into raffles through basketball! i saw her! i could recognize her at first sight! i knew she was from chua chu kang, but didnt know what number. she recognized me too! she could recognize me as "the pei hwa number 7". haha!
my angel havent written to me yet. sobs. very sad. but oh wells. i have two god angels! one of which is yining, and the other one-i dont know her name yet. going to find out someday!
